Your Crew’s Learning Hub Right Onboard
Every SeaDance Inform kiosk comes loaded with structured learning content. Crew can walk up, tap through a training module, review safety procedures, or check company updates during their downtime, without needing a phone, a login, or someone to brief them.
Structured Learning Paths
Role-specific curriculum for officers, rating, engine crew, and deck hands from cadet to master level.
Compliance Tracking
Automated records of completed certifications and training hours. Audit-ready reports for port state control.
Instant Onboard Broadcasts
Captain orders, muster schedules, safety advisories, and operational updates are pushed to every screen instantly.
Built for Life at Sea
Every feature in SeaDance Inform is engineered around the unique constraints of maritime operations — low bandwidth, multinational crews, and strict compliance requirements.
Push Announcements
Shore teams can push safety notices, campaign messages, and operational updates directly to the kiosk screens across the fleet. No email chains, no printing, no hoping the noticeboard gets checked.
Aligned to STCW and IMO themes
The platform includes learning content shaped around recognised maritime training and compliance requirements, so crew stay current between formal certification cycles.
Offline-Ready Kiosk Access
Once content is loaded onto the kiosk, the crew can access it without a live satellite connection. The system is designed for the realities of vessels operating in areas with limited or inconsistent connectivity.
Simple. Seamless. Shipboard.
SeaDance Inform is operational shortly after retrofitting our exclusive Kiosk equipment. Once the hardware is installed onboard your vessel, the cloud ready software is ready to be used.
Kiosk Unit Delivered to Vessel Agent
A pre-configured maritime-grade kiosk unit is shipped to your designated vessel agent. The hardware is built for shipboard use — durable, touch-enabled, and remotely manageable from shore.
Onboard Installation and Setup
The kiosk is installed in a high-traffic crew area such as a mess room or recreation space. Installation is coordinated with the vessel ETO and completed with minimal disruption to vessel operations.
Back-End Configuration by Shore Team
Authorized shore personnel set up the content structure, fleet categories, crew permissions, and initial content library through the management dashboard.
Crew is Enrolled, and Content Goes Live
The kiosk activates onboard, and crew can immediately access training, safety updates, announcements, and wellbeing content from the screen. No personal login required for general access.
Content Refreshed and Managed Remotely
Shore teams continue to publish, schedule, and update content from the dashboard. Kiosk performance and engagement data is available to fleet and HSQE teams for ongoing oversight.
Content Refresh at Port
When docked, new modules, updated regulations, and fresh safety content sync automatically via USB drive or vessel WiFi — keeping your library current without any satellite bandwidth.
Safety Alerts and Operational Updates
Deliver safety flashes, urgent notices, port-specific alerts, and operational updates directly to the kiosk screen. Messages are visible in common crew areas where they get seen consistently, not buried in a folder or posted to a noticeboard that nobody reads.
Training and Micro-Learning
Give crew access to short, practical learning modules they can complete between duties. From compliance topics and incident learnings to procedural refreshers and inspection-readiness content, training becomes part of the daily onboard routine rather than a separate event.
Health and Wellbeing Content
Publish content around fatigue management, sleep hygiene, mental health, nutrition, and physical wellbeing. These are not additional topics — they are part of a realistic welfare programme for crew who spend months at sea.
Inspection Readiness and Compliance Support
Help crew stay prepared for PSC, RightShip, and SIRE inspections with focused onscreen reminders, common deficiency summaries, quick-reference material, and readiness prompts. Less last-minute panic, more everyday awareness.
Company Communication and Crew Announcements
Publish company news, leadership messages, fleet-wide campaigns, crew milestone recognition and multilingual notices through the kiosk. Give shore teams a consistent, visible channel into onboard life that goes beyond email.
Surveys, Acknowledgements and Digital Workflows
Move beyond passive content delivery. Crew can confirm they have read a notice, complete a short quiz, respond to a feedback survey, or trigger a simple digital workflow, all through the kiosk screen. Shore teams get the data, not just the assumption of awareness.
